Now located in the haunted shadows of the Fellreev Forest, the Temple of the Red Blade is rumoured to be a shrine to Athux, a sinister son of Graz'zt, half demon and half drow, and a general of Graz'zt's armies. He wields a screaming red blade, soaked with the blood and hopes of the foes that he has slain.

The temple has been swallowed by the forest and is said to once have formed part of a nexus to many places and planes, possibly to ancient treasure hoards and also to Azzagrat, the three layers of the Abyss that Graz'zt commands.

Lost and unexplored for a long age, many would want to know any of the truths behind these rumours.
